My son and I had the absolute privilege of recently staying at Vernona's "Butterfly Boutique Rooms". This was a unique experience and a highlight visit during our three week stay in Italy. The rooms are perfection and styled in the most elegant and contemporary Italian design imaginable! Every detail for beauty and comfort has been considered.
The host, beautiful "Laura" is amazing. She made sure our stay was incredible and one we will always treasure. She went out of her way to help us locate tickets for a sold out event at the Arena, booked the perfect restaurant for us to celebrate in, let us know about the weather predictions during our stay and also recommended areas of Verona for us to explore. I had also lost a carry bag during my travels and she even offered to purchase new toiletries and make-up to help me out! What service and kindness is that!
The rooms at Butterfly Boutique are so luxuriously prepared. It seemed a shame to leave such beauty and comfort behind while we took advantage of all Verona had to offer! This is the most charming Italian city to explore.
You could not ask for more kind, caring and genuine hosts than Laura and Matteo. I only wish I had spent more time here and dream about a time when I can return.....
Great place!! Laura and Gian Matteo create a perfect design place in Verona! The room and hospitality they give is sensational. We cannot ask better! The location is very close to the main spot in Verona and is situated in a minor road so no noise from the tourist! I will suggest everyone to stay here for at least one night!!
Butterfly Boutique Rooms is a gem. We found this place via Tablet and grateful that we did.
The hotel is in a historic building which keeps the charm of this old city, and provides for very high ceilings in all the rooms. The interior is chic and modern, with beautiful pieces of art. The location is near the Arena — a short walk to a lot of wonderful restaurants, but removed just enough to be in a quiet part of town when you need respite from all the hustle and bustle of tourists and locals.
We booked a junior suite and got upgraded to a standard suite. The two rooms and bathroom are very spacious and beautifully designed. The furniture and art pieces were carefully curated. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa, desk, and TV, with a large window that brings in natural light. The bathroom is also spacious with double sinks, good-sized mirrors, great lighting, and a very nice shower head. The water pressure in this place is strong so you can really enjoy a nice hot shower after a full day of sightseeing. The linens, towels, and bath products are high-quality. After a long day, you’ll want to pamper yourself with their products, put on the robe, get under the covers, sink into the supportive and comfortable bed, and relax into a deep sleep before going back out again! They also had Netflix on each of the TVs in our suite!
This place is very inviting. Everyday it felt like coming home to a really cozy and luxurious place. The beautiful wooden entrance door and the majestic spiral staircase with marble steps hold the memories of ancient times, which is juxtaposed by the fresh design of the interior that ushered the newness and modernity of Italian design.
The owners and the other staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and hospitable. The service is personalized and authentic. They genuinely care that we had a nice experience. We truly enjoyed our stay at this amazing place.

Georgous boutique hotel with 6 rooms in a quiet street only 5 walking minutes away from the arena. Rooms a beautifully and exclusively furnished in italian design. The owner couple is more than hospitable and makes your stay worth while! Definitely will come back when in Verona!
