perfect location. room was very clean and spacious with the most comfy bed and pillows. After reading some of the reviews i was rather concerned and hoped i had chosen well for myself snd my friend however was immediately reassured it was right choice we could not fault it everything was as in description on website. We also ate at the restaurants belonging to hotel and could not fault the food or the service. would recommend.
It is not a hotel in any meaningful sense. There is no staff, no front desk, nothing. We waited for a while in their restaurant for someone to check us in. The person who finally did it was the restaurant employee and had no idea what to do. None of them had any idea that there was a hotel with the same name in their building. They had to ask each other. We thought it was a fraudulent booking at first. There was no one to call us a taxi or check us out. We had to walk a distance in good rain with our luggage to the bus stop to get back to the train station. We had to figure out where the bus station was on our own. We nearly missed our train. We were soaked. There was horrible noise at 6:00 every morning- trash pick up of the empty bottles in the restaurant. It lasted for a while. No way to sleep after that. The door through the restaurant (piazza entrance) was locked on both evenings. The elevator didn’t work at all. You have to walk all around on the back alley and hope your key works. Slippery marble staircase leads to your room. For two nights we were worried that we were going to be locked out of our room and out on the street for the night, with no one to help us. We saw no other customers through our stay. You can see that some of the reviews here are for the restaurant.
My daughter loves the play area. I love the large menu.
