Very good hotel, right next to San-Marco Square. Beautiful interior. Some parts from the XIVth century. Staff are very attentive and professional. Large and clean rooms and bathrooms. Large and amazingly comfortable beds. The breakfast is great and so is the view from the 5th floor terrace. The bar downstairs is perfect for a drink from the large selection too.
Outstanding Hotel with very friendly staff
We had two rooms connected to each other perfect for a family! My children forgot their toy elefant and bear when we left. After some emails and calls we received them back today!

Hotel Danieli was unlike any other hotel we've ever stayed in! Its classic and elegant look was so well preserved. Customer service was unmatched! It is located 1 minute away from San Marco, which makes it very convenient for late nights!
We are really upset and exhausted about what happened to us last week.
I would like to inform you about what happened with our reservation n. 80869292 requested by Marina Dall’Oca made on 25th February 2021 for the Hotel Danieli in Venice for the night of 27th February.
On 13th February our friends spent a night by Danieli paying 450E for a room with two adults and two children with breakfast and dinner. Then they spent the night there and with other facilities and they paid 550E.
On 22nd February in the evening we had called the hotel Danieli and a lady at the end of our conversation claimed that we could have the same offer of our friend including two children and we should have called the following day because she could not keep the booking.
On 24th February we called again and Mrs Alessandra told us something different, the total price was 550E instead of 450E as our friends had paid for the same service.
On 25th February we called again and a very kind person Michele booked a room for two adults and two children because the Marriott offers the chance to have children in the same room with two adults without paying anything more. I asked him more than once the reason in the booking was not named for my children and he said he couldn’t. Moreover I waited on the phone a few minutes because he spoke with his boss and later he had the permission to do the booking. Everything was regular. The price was 450E +10E of taxes.
In the afternoon we called again in order to control if everything was correct and we spoke with Mrs Marina and she told me that we had to pay 450E + 200E.
Then in the evening we called the Resident Manager of Danieli and he said that the booking made by the Marriot Booking Centre of Cork was incorrect and the right price was 550E.
On 26th February we spoke with the Resident Manager of Danieli and he told us he would have called me again by the end of the morning but he hasn’t called yet.
In the afternoon we had sent an email but no one had answered us yet.
It is not the first time we use Marriott, but it was in the USA and the service was completely different. We are really shocked how we have been treated and we are really disappointed.
It is not possible that every time we spoke with a different person the price was different.
In the end we cancelled our booking because no one had answered us even if the hotel was empty.

Just spent 4 days at the marvellous Danieli, just before they semi locked down again. Just amazing not to have so many tourists - i estimate about 10% of what we experienced 3 years ago. But eerie feeling not to have people/ambiance... Hotel just as wonderful and luscious as ever.
