Reviews from visitors:
The staff is the highlight of this hotel.
Everyone was very accommodating and professional.
It is, however, let down by small details - e.g. while the rooms are newly renovated, the coffee facilities are lacking to say the least.
The rooms also lack curtains in the bathroom, into which can be clearly seen from outside while showering.
On the second night of our stay, a thunderstorm meant rainwater coming in from the windows, highlighting again the shoddy quality of the recent refub (we had to move rooms).
The breakfast quality could also be better. As it stands now the offer is of very low quality, with croissants and cakes which are clearly bought pre-made.
Overall it is a nice hotel, however the rates are way too high for the offering, as it is usually the case with IHG's Indigo Hotels.
Absolutely brilliant. We love Hotel Indigo and this is a very fine example right up there with best we have been to. Lovely location in very quiet part of Venice. Lovely team, great hotel!
Overall the stay was OK but it wasn't cheap and to be honest I was probably expecting a bit more attention to detail for that price...
For example, breakfast wasn't too great. The fruit salad was one of the worst I've ever tried, absolutely tasteless.
The pastries and cakes were OK but nothing special - I've been to less expensive hotels that had a much better offer with home made pastries etc.
Certainly the hotel and rooms look nice and clean but again I'd have liked to see some more amenities like for example a in room espresso machine etc.
Room sound insulation was poor, I could hear every time the guests in the next room were opening the door or moving something...
Overall, none of those things was the end of the world... The hotel is fine and the staff was great but I can't help thinking they prioritise the visual aspect (everything looking fancy and fashionable) while sometime forgetting to provide actual substance or quality. (I've been to other Indigo hotels and I think this comment applies to pretty much all of them).
Excellent hotel who's biggest asset, after its serene location, is the kind helpful and efficient staff. A credit to thehotel.
Beautiful hotel in an authentic part of Venice, the staff go above and beyond!
