Reviews from visitors:
Giving this place one star is one star too many. I have been trying to get a refund for my hotel stay for months now. The hotel itself shut down and at first they said that my reservation was “non-refundable” despite it being impossible to stay at the hotel due to THEM closing their doors. Finally after threatening to dispute the charge to my card with my bank and post reviews of my experience they agreed to a refund but it would take 30 days to process because of the volume of refunds they needed to do. After 30 days they informed me that they could not refund my card and instead asked for my personal banking information via email to process the refund. I refused and asked for a check instead and low and behold they cannot offer a check refund. Do not recommend this hotels shady practices at all. I am now, 2 months later, going through the dispute process as they were not able to uphold their end of our agreement. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Venice, the place of romantics, mysterious alleyways, loads of shopping, loads of food, and some of the best picture taking locations you'll see.
Now the hotel from the outside isn't anything fancy, nor is the front desk. At this point, we were somewhat taken back as to the reception, and wanted to just get to our rooms, drop our luggage and explore the city.
Our room wasn't ready upon check-in, even though we arrived closer to 4PM, and we were kind of forced to upgrade to another room. I'm glad we upgraded, because the room gave us wonderful views of the Rialto Bridge, and wonderful scenery around. We weren't too happy to pay for the upgrade, as it wasn't our fault the initial room wasn't ready.
Needless to say, the concierge, reception calls from the room were just unanswered, we were left to come down every time to get what we wanted. A simple request of more pillows took hours.
The room was spacious, modern, and well kept. We would visit the city, but will re-think the hotel, as the management really needs to review its' protocols for guest satisfaction. A simple thing as allowing us the room upgrade at the same price, would leave a positive feeling for us during our stay.
Location ! Came here for four nights to explore Venice. From the airport we took the ferry to the Rialto stop. The hotel is SO close to the ferry spot. You will appreciate this when you see others pulling luggage over big staircases and bridges. We were greeted right away. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was ALWAYS someone at the front counter.
The view of the hotel is literally looking at the Rialto bridge and the canal. The location couldn’t of been better. We did come during rainy season, so one morning the lobby was actually flooded but it only lasted til about noon.
They offer complimentary breakfast which had cereal, eggs, bacon, breads, fruit, juices, and fresh coffee.
The rooms were all nice and the bathroom was spacious. The WiFi works great too.
This is a great place to stay !
Traditional Venetian decor albeit, could do with an update as some woodwork damaged and air conditioning unit not fully functioning.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extensive I.e. cereal, pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit etc.
Depending on your room, you could be awake all night listening to a conference of pigeons.
Great location, right beside Rialto Bridge and coffee shop and restaurant next door.
Every time I’m in Venice I stay only in this hotel for my personal reasons & memories.
But on the top of it, the hotel is really very well situated next to the Rialto bridge so you can enjoy its view day & night.
In the evening you can admire the lights of the restaurants in front of the hotel, but pay attention to timing: the lights will be switched off at about 1 a.m.
If your windows don’t face the channel, don’t miss the hotel’s terrace with the view the bridge. It has beautiful tables and flowers.
