JW Marriott continues to impress every time I stay at one. This Venice resort was absolutely incredible! The service, the rooms, the amenities are everything you need. It was actually difficult to leave the property to go into Venice because it’s so nice. In fact- we spent the last day enjoying the BEAUTIFUL spa. Highly recommend the spa day. The shuttle into the city takes about 20 minutes and runs twice an hour. It’s really not that bad and the ride in is scenic.
I think companies and people should be judged by their most difficult moments and Marriott’s service during COVID has been despicable. I Booked 5 hotels in May in Italy for our honeymoon and this is the only one to refuse to give us a refund. Only offering a voucher that we can’t use. Alessandra Cannas’, the reservation agent, customer service is disappointing to say the least.
We had a wonderful night in this resort. Ricardo, the front manager has been so kind to us! The rooftop heated pool is amazing with an awesome view and massages are a
must! We had a Bellini on the rooftop bar and really enjoyed it. The waiter who attended us at the pizzeria was also very nice.
