Unfortunately, I didn't have the no doubt immense pleasure of staying at this fabulous hotel, but I did get to experience it for a short while, while dining there. The service was, as you'd expect, absolutely perfect- beyond five stars! Our waiter was extremely attentive, witty, and overall very charismatic- you'd think he came off the silver screen. The food was impeccable, and of the very highest quality- no shortcuts. Heck, the varied bread basket with assorted oils and butters was enough to make me want to come back! Easily some of the best food I've had in Venice, even despite the central/touristic location... but of course, you pay quite dearly for the privilege of dining just steps away from perhaps the most famous square in Europe. It was not cheap by any stretch, but is a great pit stop to spoil yourself on, and I would most definitely go again on future visits to the city. The interior is maximally lavish in the most tasteful/authentic way- no tackiness here! Walking through the restaurant, around the lobby, and even in the washrooms, is like getting lost in a fairytale- absolutely mesmerizing! While their nightly rate is beyond my means, I might just make a point of it to save and treat myself to one night at the hotel on my next trip! Fantastic spot.

At this level it would be hard to beat value for money.
The historic building and beautifully decorated rooms gives the perfect accompaniment to the Venice experience.
The staff will take care of any request into the finest details and always with a smile.

The back entrance of this very luxe hotel literally leads into St Marks square. Hotel is also down the block from harry’s bar if you need to check that off your list. We had amazing views from our balcony and its the best location in venice.
The 5 Star - Baglioni Hotel Luna is very centrally located, not even a minute from Piazza San Marco. It is right on the water and the gondola station, where you also can order a water taxi at the reception, if you have to go anywhere else.
You get a very friendly welcome. The timeless furnishings made the stay very pleasant, as if you had landed in another time.
The staff made an amazing effort to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. They were very helpful with questions and tips. The rooms are very nicely and comfortably furnished. We had a room with canal view, a view of the Chaise di San Giorgio Maggie. It's unbelievable how quiet it was here.
The nice bar with terrace right on the water is a highlight for romantic evenings! The breakfast was very good, a large selection of egg-dishes, pastries, bread, cold cuts, fruits etc. You had the choice to have breakfast in the beautiful indoor salon or outside. Especially in the current phase with Covid-19, the hotel coped very well. Masks are compulsory, whether for guests or employees. Thumbs up! We will be back.
What a wonderful stylish hotel where the staff can never do enough for you, sure it isn’t cheap, but look at its location.My only advice would be to get breakfast included as it is expensive, oh and if you like coffee in the morning and are not prepared to pay for room service, take a kettle and coffee!
