Great hotel in Venice. It is so authentic that in some way you feel like a real traveler in a city crowded with tourists.
A splendid and historic Venice time capsule. Every room is different and ours was very unique with enormous chandeliers and a window looking into the canal.
We did not stay here but needed to visit because of the incredible history of this building having been the Pieta orphanage where Vivaldi lived and worked. So we showed up in fairly pedestrian walking about clothing and headed straight for the storied oriental bar. We were greeted by the most gracious and wonderful host who knew the exact history we were there for. We had drinks and were served excellent complimentary food to accompany them. It was an experience I will never forget.
It was my first time to sleep in an Venetian hotel and I choose those one cause of it's style. As I am arrived and stay and in the last hour it was very special the feeling that you as an guest of that place are very welcome and kindly treaten.
The hotel itself got an water canal entrance as laying on the strolling boulevard from San Marco place to the Eastern city area where the belinnale park are placed.
The hotel itself is an very nice place as treasured some nice stylish pieces in many kinds on different places from the hotel. If you like an special smooth quiet place where you consume self made drinks than it's the oriental bar the place for this stay that is of course in same building.
The time there in Venice is much more impressive when you are guest in such an hotel where the past are still live on today with the friendly people from the presence. Will surely check into this hotel again when iam choose another stay in future inside the traditional European place of the Italian legend Venice.
Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Cool place, near San Marco basilica. Furniture original.
