A very nice hotel right by the Santa Lúcia train station. Clean and quiet room. A great breakfast buffet and friendly staff make this hotel perfect for a nice getaway.
Perfect location. It is far from San Marco, but that really doesn't matter. You don't want to hang around San Marco the entire anyway, and there is so much more in Venice. Being right next to the station is just great because it allows you to take many boats, even during the night. Don't underestimate walking to/from the nearest boat stop, waiting etc. Having several boats right in front of you is fantastic. The 2, 4, 5 and the N boats we took regularly, and that makes the entire experience much less tiring. The hotel itself has perfect rooms. Of course, like in most hotels in Venice, the rooms are a bit smaller, are not all situated along a long corridor with rooms on each side, and all have different shapes. But they were perfectly maintained, with comfortable beds, two different pillows, high-speed wifi, a full bathroom with amenities, just anything you may expect from a good 4* hotel. Breakfast is generally coffee + croissant in Italy, and that morning scarcity is reflected in many hotels in Italy, but Bellini understands they serve customers from all over the world. Breads, cereals, yogurts, various pastries, cakes and croissants, different types of eggs, sausages, bacon and more. There was even a carrot juicing machine! How cool is that. The staff is warm and friendly. Despite a little misunderstanding about our final bill they were lovely and we found a solution. I would definitely come back there!
Overall our experience was very good. Rooms and bathrooms updated and fully functional. Staff was very helpful. A bit far from St.Marks Sq. Lovely church across the canal bridge. Nearby local grocery stores have tasty pizza for a midnight snack. Would use again.
Definitely the best hotel we stayed at in our visit to Europe. The staff is lovely and will do everything so your stay is perfect. Rooms are super clean, excellent location, very good rates, breakfast is super good. We felt like celebrities. Stay without hesitation.
