Great hotel on the edge of the walking centre and across the dormation church. It is an older hotel and the look and feel is from the 80s. But staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and beautiful. Breakfast is tasty and fresh with daily something new. We had room 303 and a direct view of the church from our room. Great location.

I spend there on June 22nd 2019 a night. I had a guest visiting me for approx an hour. The guy at the receptionist called me twice at 23.08 and 23.11 and tried to SCAM me that I should pay him 20 EUR cash or I need to pay double amount on next day because he said it's not allowed to have guests in the room. This rules are nowhere visible and I have not signed anything in this direction. Annoyed by this calls I asked if I can get a receipt for the cash payment, he denied that there will be no receipt. So I refused to go down and next day I have not payed double. THIS IS NOT how hotel guests are treated. This never happened before to me in my life and I'm a business man traveling often. Stay away from this hotel, very unprofessional and it was the only bad experience in Bulgaria for me.
Friendly staff and very good service. The twin room is big and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and quite. Located at the center of Varna in the opposite side of the beautiful cathedral which you can see from your room window. Good breakfast.
