We paid a good price to have a good place. Biggest disappointment - not clean. It needs a good sweep. When checking-in by a lucky accident I noticed that the sheets had not been changed! They did change after I asked. Towels look questionable. Internet was bad. Good points - there was a washing machine and nice view from balcony.
Host was super friendly, but he should be more demanding from his cleaning lady.

This was a perfect stay :)
We lived a few months in one of the Valparaiso Experience houses and it was great! It was very well equipped, had enough space for everything and on top a beautiful terrace with an outstanding view. The owner Bart did absolutely everything to make us feel comfortable and it couldn't have been better! The street is one of the safest of the city, there is no problem at all, not in the days neither in the nights. It's calm, has enough delivery services and stores nearby and is located so central we could walk everywhere.100% recommended and I will come back again for sure.
An okay place in a okay neighborhood, (234 Sta Margarita), first impression was really really bad, streets are dirty, houses are dirty and poorly maintained, then it starts to feel okay after a day since it is safe and quiet, the view of the city does not look so sad as it first appears. And there are a few decent places nearby to have dinner. House has everything, especially large terraces for the view of city and ocean, but not in great condition, one coffee grinder covered in dust, apparently house keeper does not do a good job. The person who came to show us the house was a young woman, and she was late, (left us with the taxi driver in the road did not know what to do, called house manager and he did not answer, taxi driver was really nice gentleman, trying to make calls and asked around to find which house we booked, and only left after seeing us safely in the house), she apparently was in a bad mood, told us all information was In the booklet and handed us the key and took off.
But Overall it was a okay experience. If I come back to Valparaíso again, I would find a place in another neighbor (Cerro Concepcion) which has much better appearance and more restaurants and shops. I believe the whole experience would be a much better one.
Perfect place for rest and fun with your whole family... The view is great and the location is in the middle of a open sky museum with graffitis and paints on walls. Is a really great place.
