Visited this hotel for 2 nights 3 days in Valencia and I have to admit that this place was better than what I even expected! The first good impressions started from the moment of booking as the day after the reservation, the host/owner contacted me to check the estimated time of arrival, provide directions and ask for any dietary requirements. Arriving at there, he was extremely welcoming and helpful, willing to assist and support and most importantly he made me feel like home! The room was very cool, clean, nicely designed, brand new airy and bright and the bed was just fantastic. The location is very convenient as it is in the middle of the main attractions/districts of Valencia, the beautiful old town and the modern, impressive Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. In terms of the breakfast, it is not something amazing but it is good enough to get you started in the morning for a coffee and a bite so that you fuel up and you are not looking for breakfast as soon as you get out the door. What is more, some of the packed dry food are always there in case you need a coffee and a snack in the afternoon. Valencia was just amazing for me and the hotel played an important role as I felt welcome by a local!
A Casa Martinez is a wonderfully classy boutique hotel in a marvellous location. I can only give the highest recommendations for the staff, the decor and location, it ticks all the boxes.
