The rooms are lovely. The view of the lake and heritage buildings around is spectacular. The staff is helpful. The food menu could be more expansive because you get bored of eating from a limited menu. Also, they don't have room service, so that can be inconvenient sometimes. Overall, a good stay. We were lucky to get the only room with a balcony facing the lake, so an extra star for that.
Such a beautiful space they have. Decoration, furniture and lightning are in perfect coordination. The restaurant has some "chill/romantic" sitting areas, as well as elegant ones, and a terrace with very close view to the City Palace. Prices are quite high, but each plate comes pretty full, big size, and also the service is worth to pay.
This is a beautiful heritage property in the heart of the city close to the city palace. The decor is so beautiful, staff is very friendly and the restaurant provides delicious food. There is a traditional luxury feel of this hotel. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay very close to the main tourist attraction. Be prepared for steep height to reach this hotel. But the beauty and service more than comoensates for the same.
The place is magnificent, the rooms, service, food, everything. It was worth the expense. The drawbacks I found were that there wasn't a mirror in the room and the breakfast menu was pretty limited, there wasn't much variety. Also, there's no system of parking, you've to park at a nearby parking spot and then come by rickshaw. But the interior of the hotel is wonderful,had a great stay. Would love to visit again.
Very picturesque place. Lovely view of lake Pichola from roof top. Would definitely recommend. :)
But no room service for food. House keeping was lagging a bit but after informing at reception about the same, it was better.
PS: we stayed at standard room.
