We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is fantastic and is so local to everything Ubud has to offer. It’s right in the city but it feels like you’re in the quiet mountains of Ubud. The food at their cafe/restaurant is impeccable and their rooms were so clean and spacious. The pool is so beautiful is always well maintained. The service here is always 10/10. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Our stay at Sapodilla Ubud was wonderful. The grounds and rooms are well kept, clean and pretty. The set back from the road and setting conveniently removed from the intensity of central Ubud was welcome. The restaurant was very convenient. The hotel staff was spectacular in every imaginable way. We would not bother looking for another place to stay on our next trip to Bali. We'd head straight the the Sapodilla.

This is exactly what I was looking for! A lovely boutique hotel tucked away from the noise, but still near central Ubud. The services can’t be beat - free shuttle service to wherever you’d like in central Ubud, a cell phone to call the staff whenever you need room service or if you need to be picked up, and amazing local Balinese food. Oh, and easy laundry service, which is perfect after spending a few days in the warm summer sun. I felt very safe and respected here, as a woman traveling solo.
you get what you pay for
we stayed in room 108, overlooking the pool and fauna surrounding the courtyard. a lovely air-conditioned room, very spacious with luxury in every room. the pool was so refreshing, i lingered in it for hours during a drizzle. food was restaurant-quality, and staff was so charming. walk out and to the right on the main road and find some excellent restaurants, medical center, and a grocery store
only negative remark is that staff are a little less fluent in English than taxi and restaurant workers, which was OKAY for us but do be prepared to be patient and maybe ask them to repeat
