The hotel room had a thick moldy smell unfortunately. We were told we were going to be upgraded but we were not. The rooms are small and the view is basic. Not worth the price.
Food was phenomenal - italian restaurant and breakfast. Great service, friendly staff. Front desk took a while to organize our reservation but directed us to the restaurant to eat and wait there.
Highly recommend going there for the food. Room wise we do not recommend for the dollar to value.
As soon as I entered into the COMO Uma Ubud hotel, there is this special and harmonious connection with nature, so incredible that it feels like it's become part of it and integrated into the dense landscape. The air is fresh and cold, refreshing, reminding me of the British Countryside!
My room number 31 is located down lots of steps, into the jungle with magnificent views, colours and sounds.
My 3 day retreat began with a signature 60-minute Taksu Massage at the Spa called the COMO Shambhala.
My therapist was exceptional. Using deep firm pressure to loosen all the tight knots in my back, stretching and pulling the body in all the right places. Focusing on request on my head and neck, loosening all the tension along with any negative energy and leaving me feeling somewhat euphoric and lighter in my body. Happy, calm, a new human being, she touched my inner person, my soul.
As did the yoga teacher whom I spent only an hour with yet when I left the class I felt like I'd spent months practicing. He carried inside of him that inner wisdom and inner knowing that somehow touches you and kicks you back into the flow of life again, where everyday serendipities are the norm.
Full marks for the healthy breakfasts and the floating breakfast on the finale - something that you have to experience! Thank you!
one word SPECTACULAR. From the service to the food to the ambience. we had a wonderful time at COMO, your stay at COMO wont be uneventful because they offer a variety of complimentary activities , we went for a guided morning walk, morning Yoga & Meditation and many more. everything is well designed, you are surrounded by nature all around. breakfast was well prepared and we can tell that the ingredients are fresh and beautifully made. we recommend the yoghurt pot granolla and the green delight juice. if u have the time, go for the massage and Yoga.
Good spacious rooms. Very clean and nice staff. Enjoyable stay with great views.
