Reviews from visitors:
Excellent hospitality, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. I'd definitely stay here again.
The hotel is extremely clean, new, stylish and looks great. But its also very well located in a very cosy natural environment. Breakfast was excellent and the owner could not have been nicer. Definitely will go back!
Wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff and great location. It's a short walk to town, but far enough to get away from the noise. The breakfast is delicious. The decor is colorful and warm. Highly recommended!
Our first time in Brazil, my daughter & I decided to visit the charming town of Paraty for a few days. We were thrilled with our little boutique hotel, which we chose online from pictures and descriptions. Carpe Diem is located within an easy walk to all the little shops, restaurants, and cobblestone streets from the colonial settling period. This little gem hotel is not only quaint, but very clean, inviting (you feel like you're at home), has a small lap pool with an outside garden area, and offers a delicious hot breakfast (included). The bilingual manager takes time to familiarize you with all the various day trips you can sign up for, as well as good advice on where to go on your own. He even called our shuttle the day before we left to confirm their arrival time at the hotel. As two ladies traveling alone, we couldn't have felt more safe and comfortable in this pleasant and attractive little hotel. We would definitely choose to stay there again and recommend it to all who travel there. By the way, Carpe Diem was the only boutique hotel we experienced where they offered you beach towels for the day for your use on any of the excursions. That was not the case in our other boutique hotels, so it was greatly appreciated. Best wishes for a wonderful visit to Paraty - You will love the Carpe Diem!
My boyfriend Bernardo and I had a wonderful experience at Carpe Diem. While the location is ideal and the space is clean and beautifully decorated... what we will remember most is the hospitality. The team at Carpe Diem made us feel like a part of their family from the get-go and helped us navigate everything from selecting a tour to choosing a place to dine. Their breakfast and tea time spread are not simply adequate but thoughtfully presented and delicious. I would highly recommend this stay to any of my family and friends interested in touring the area. I hope our paths cross again some day.
