Reviews from visitors:
Casa Agape was a solid Hotel, the room was nice and clean and the location was great if you want to be close to everything.
Pros:
Close to everthing. Bike rental are across the street. Bars, restaurants are all within walking distance, and the taco stands are about 2 blocks away if you need a late meal.
Rooms are nice and modern.
Cons:
It might be loud for people. There's a party hostel or bar across the street and it might be too loud for some people.
I haven't stayed at a ton of places in Tulum, but this place has a great location if you don't mind some of the noise coming from accross the street from time to time, it's a good value for the location.
This is a beautiful hotel with large, modern rooms, an onsite restaurant and rooftop pool, as well as an amazingly warm bilingual staff that will bend over backwards to ensure you are enjoying your stay. I would compare it to a Kimpton boutique hotel, but I've never had staff this friendly. Each room has a quiet balcony or patio that is surrounded by lush vegetation, as if the Mayan jungle just comes right up to your door. Then when you exit your room, the interior second, third and top floors all have wide exterior shared patios that are absolutely covered in potted plants that are just big enough to create the illusion that the jungle is in the hotel. On this shared space there are little nichos between the plants with seating to create a number of intimate shared spaces. The neighborhood is well connected to the downtown area via Polar Poniente and the hotel has access to a private beach that is a short bike ride or inexpensive cab ride away. The desk can arrange a bike, moto or taxi for you as well as tours.
We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back!
The desk was very friendly!
The room was ready before check-in time.
Well designed room makes the best impression.
Beautiful view of the trees. The room was bright & clean. Amazing experience!
Room was cute but super basic. No iron, hammock was broken. They had an incident with a guest while we stayed there, she was making noise all night and being a small hotel, she kept everyone up. We received free breakfast in the morning as a courtesy so that was nice. Of you want a basic room, no frills it's good but if you're looking for a little more ammeneties, I'd say pass.
One of our favorite places in Tulum! Amazing staff, huge rooms, perfect location. Our stay was awesome!
