Such a nice place to relax and enjoy Tulum. Omar was very helpful with recommendations and reservations. The pool was absolutely serene, it was peaceful enough to take a nap poolside which you definitely won't get at a different Tulum hotel. The rooms were huge! And the restaurant was delicious. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem.
I have absolutely no complaints about my stay here at KASA... My boyfriend and I stayed at this particular hotel for 4 days and three nights. We arrived early around 12:30pm and although our room wasn't ready yet, we were welcomed by Omar our concierge (who was amazing our entire stay!) with delicious non alcoholic, refreshing drinks. He pulled up a map for us online, without us asking and explained in detail a few points of interest, he thought we'd enjoy. We were allowed to change and enjoy lounging by the pool which was very pleasant. We were shown to our room about 40 minutes later, which was even better in person. They added a very special touch and decorated with fresh flowers for our birthday celebration, which we greatly appreciated. They also provided us with a nice welcome bottle of tequila, which actually tasted pretty good. We ate a few meals here at the hotel and everything was seasoned and cooked just the way I like it. Breakfast was complementary and thank goodness it wasn't continental. Oh and the drinks were A1! And happy hour 2for1! With great prices! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know traveling to Tulum. I would also recommend renting a car like we did. It saved a lot of time and money. Just know, this hotel sits in a maze so getting out can be a little tricky to say the least Haha!
The ENTIRE staff is amazing. They helped us with so much even translations to make other requests. My sisters and I received messages from Marie and Jasmine they were AWESOME! two kind souls. The chef's were awesome thank you frasoc one of the kindest waiters I have ever met. Will be staying here again! Thank you for making it such a great stay.
Cancelled due to a good price. The hotel had a few nights in January for a really good price so I booked it and the reservation was confirmed. A few days later I was notified that the pricing was wrong and that they wouldn’t accept my booking, I changed my reservation to 3 days and it gave me a new price but still within the promotion and they then cancelled my booking. I am now left stranded, and they don’t care of have offered any other solution.
I am currently staying at this property and I just had to come on here and share my current experience. First, the hotel is exactly as pictured - it's beautiful and we are staying in the penthouse suite. For the most part, the servers are great. The covid precautions are acceptable and the hotel is not full so people are keeping their distance. Now - since we have arrived, we have had issues with the water. The water shuts on and off. I wasn't able to shower last night and this morning they are still trying to fix the issue. The breakfast has been less than stellar as well and I honestly feel like the customer service could be better from the evening staff. There was some confusion with the booking and they did not really do much to help resolve the matter. We booked a penthouse two bedrooms and they stated that they only see that we have two bedrooms for one of the nights. So, the second bedroom is inside of our suite but they won't unlock that door for us until the last night of our stay. If we wanted them to unlock the door for the whole stay, we would need to pay $200. That to me - is not great customer service. I am hoping that this improves, if so - I will update the review accordingly.
