This villa was so nice from head to toe! Our individual room was very well decorated, the bathroom had a super cute swing and rain shower. The finishes seemed high end-they thought of everything!! The pool was amazing. Plenty of spots to lounge with fun hammocks, couches and an outdoor (covered) dinner table. We were able to hook up to the speaker, which was loud enough for the entire property if you wanted that. WiFi worked great. The host, Jose, was so helpful and available if we needed anything. He also helped us get shuttles and gave great recommendations! 10 out of 10 would book a stay here again!
A family group of 17 of us recently stayed at Aqua Viva/Villas Aquarius and in short, we do not recommend this property. While the property is beautiful and the pool is great, many things that were in the contract or description were not fulfilled or not as described. We were promised 2 bikes and only managed to get a single working bike halfway through the week. We booked 11 bathrooms, but only 10 were available to us. The upstairs cabanas have mosquito nets that don't even close. The yoga shala is a mess of broken wood, making it unusable. For such a luxury property the kitchen is barely stocked (with the exception of the Vitamix) and the pots and pans are scratched nonstick (ew). The property, while beautiful, is surrounded by barking dogs, roosters that crow starting at 3 AM and extremely loud neighbors. Hot water in the showers is often not available in all rooms. We reached out to our contact halfway through the stay to share our concerns and weeks later have not heard anything back. The on-site manager Jose tried to help us but some things we were expecting - and had been promised by Gero (he manages the web site)- turned out not to be feasible. If you are looking for a place to party and don't care about noise at 4am this could be your spot, but we do not recommended it for a family vacation.
This place was beautiful and the staff is super friendly. We checked in really late (around 3am due to a late flight) but once we finally found the place, we were greeted and settled into our (tiny) room with not even a grimace. There were bats and other reptiles crawling around outside the room, which was a little strange for us, but understandable considering the open concept of this place. Definitely spend some time here in the daytime because it really is beautiful. They let us leave our luggage here while exploring the rest of Tulum, and that was a wonderful bonus.
Horrible they have canceled 2 days before my reservation without answering my emails or responding anyway. I don't recommend reserving with this hotel if you don't want to be stuck last minute with no where to stay! Very poor customer service!
Horrible hab cancelado la reserva que ha hecho hace un mes 2 dÃas antes de llegar sin contestastar ninguna email. Ahora no tengo hotel y todos son agotado. No recomendó para nada!
Beautiful modern hotel. We had an unforgettable and amazing time here. Very friendly staff. Quite a few bugs here, but that is to be expected in the area. Would love to visit again one day!
