The location is perfect. The common places as well as the rooms are clean, the staff is nice. The rooms are quite big. The establishment is less then 5 minutes to walk to the city center. Thank you very much for everything !
Hotel and stuff are great, but with coupe issues - a heavy noise because of construction on the next hotel starting from 8:00am morning, not very clean towels, our mattress was very soft and my back started to hurt, and sometimes missed hot water. We complained about everything to stuff, they were very polite and great, and we got a free upgrade to Studio room without extra charge, replaced mattress and clean towels. In case of any issues be ready to contact though email, phone and desk and demand comfort for your rest.
Great Room with affordable rates. They lock the gate each night so you have to get in through a guard and only other disturbance was the construction going on right next door.
Other than that very nice staff and clean rooms!
just meh. perfect for those on a budget looking for a place that's pleasant but not for anything more. very simple and quaint but nothing i'd rave about. definitely wouldn't mind coming back but wouldn't actively try to
the pluses + are:
1. good location
2. nice and efficient staff
3. clean room
4. cool shower, very spacious
5. water available to refill bottles
6. blanket in the room
7. A/C
8. good wifi
the minuses - are:
1. noisey area but if you're staying downtown it'll be noisey no matter where you stay
2. staff not very helpful in terms of any tourist information
3. labelled a 4-star hotel which i definitely don't think it is so make sure to manage expectations!
I stayed at LiveTulum 2 full weeks. Both at an appartment and a suite. The appartment had a little breakfast nook and kitchen.
- Staff was absolutely kind and helpful, really appreciated the staff!
- bed was good
- organic shampoo/hand wash
- very fair price/quality
- walking distance to a big supermarket
- cozy interior
- would stay again/recommend to others
But:
- the shower/toilet seat at the appartment were not too good, poor water pressure and showerhead
- one day there was no warm water at the appartment
- they don’t have bikes available for guests, could be nice for the future
- floor could be cleaner
- kitchen and cooking appliances are a bit old around the edges
Unfortunately what tempered my experience for me for the last few days was the lack of privacy. The ground floor suite was next to the path to the pool, so both staff and guests were contineously looking into my room and staring.
I had to close curtains the entire day for privacy...
