Good b & b, in my opinion it deserves 3 stars, maximum 3.5. Towels in 3 days never changed, breakfast absent due to covid, you could do anyway 1 agreement with a nearby bar, building without a lift. Ideal rooms for short stays. Anyway Stefania very kind and courteous
A really nice experience, we were greeted with a smile and a lot of professionalism. Definitely one of the places I will recommend.
Great location really close to the sea but also in the center
Bad transparency, for anyone who wants to go there it is REALLY IMPORTANT to know the following. The host, Stefania, DOES NOT communicate such info.
1) It is located on the SECOND FLOOR WITHOUT ELEVATOR and with a staircase close to the spiral one, very uncomfortable for those with some prob. of walking or movement.
2) The structure is not accessible by car, it is in the ZTL, so at check-in and check-out you will have to BRING HAND LUGGAGE FOR AT LEAST 300m in the best case in which you can park your car in proximity to the statue of Garibaldi. Tiring for those with families with small or elderly children.
3) I have read many reviews that speak of excellent cleaning, so I think that maybe in the past it will have been but now there is dirt everywhere, the floors are good in the sense that you do not see if they are dirty but if you walk barefoot you can accounts for the lack of hygiene. SO IT SEEMS ONLY APPARENTLY CLEAN.
4) In addition, and the host takes care not to say it, if you do not put the appropriate request card on the bed, NO SHEETS OR TABLECLOTH WILL BE CHANGED. We also talked to other guests. It was like that for everyone. We have made many trips, usually the change is done without specific instructions from the customer and not the other way around.
5) There is NO kitchen and the fridge made available to all guests is the one that is usually used in hotel rooms, DEFINITELY INSUFFICIENT for all guests of the facility and without a freezer. So we were unable to use the gelines and bottles of fresh water for our excursions.
6) Our shower had drainage problems, the whole bathroom flooded after a few minutes of showering, and Stefania asked us if maybe we would bring sand into the shower. I BELIEVE IT WAS ALSO OFFENSIVE.
7) The street passed off as "comfortable and silent" where the structure is located is actually a destination for DRUGS AND ALCOHOLICISERS because one of them lives right under the structure. They play loud music until late at night and on the last night we were also afraid of being bothered. We were tempted to call 112.
8) Finally, with the covid excuse, the host shows up only for the money, which he also wants immediately upon arrival. Any request or requirement was not satisfactory "causa covid". We have not even been given a mop or a bath mat. She gave the impression that if we could also avoid sleeping and washing in the room, she would be happy. In short, only the money.
I did not want to talk about our specific events because after all they can be subjective but what is written I think it is important to know before choosing this structure to stay. Stefania will NOT tell you anything about this.
A nice place in the historic center of Trapani and fabulous service. 100% recommended.
