Elegantly furnished hotel on a quiet street within walking distance of most tourist attractions. Very friendly owner. I really enjoyed my stay.
Very friendly reception and the guy managing the hotel speaks English, French, and Spanish. The room I stayed in was nice and I have no complains about it.
Location is also good. There is a metro station and a bus stop to get to the airport nearby, and it is just a short walk into the city center. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well.
The breakfast is alright. It wasn't anything fancy, but they offered bread, croissants, yogurt, cheese, honey, jam, juice, some fruits, cornflakes, and a few others things.
For those who have difficulties climbing stairs, note that there is no lift.
Very nice and clean rooms, reasonable price. No elevator, so be prepared to haul your things.
Excellent accommodation! We spent two nights at the Héliot. It was both elegant and comfortable. We found it very good value. The reception service was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience for us. One suggestion I would make is in regard to the optional breakfast. There are two formats, priced accordingly: (i) full buffet and (ii) "formule express". The first was more than we required and the second not enough - just a coffee and a croissant. I feel that something in between would suit more guests, something more like a standard French breakfast,to include e.g. orange juice, fresh bread with butter and jam.
Hotel Heliot was very comfortable and quiet and the location could not have been more convenient. We slept well every night and we were made very welcome by our host Frederick.
