We stayed here almost a week. We we're given a good room, which was very clean, with a balcony. There is a very good breeze in the room if you open the balcony door and bathroomwindow. The owners of the hotel speak English, and they are friendly, and can give you details on where to buy certain stuff or get a haircut etc. We need residencia, so we got a house in La Mata, otherwise we would still be in Hotel Cano!

I was literally abused and bullied by one member of the staff, I was in alicante when the airport fire happened , the airport closed and all flight canceled. Mine was at 8:10 , I booked a taxi from the hotel the night before but as soon as Ryanair text me I went to cancel the taxi at the reception. The man showed me a very rude face asking me WHY YOU WANT to CANCEL in spanish , I said its just a taxi and it more than 6 h ahead. He start shouting and I couldn't understand any thing, went back to my room, at9 o'clock Ryanair ask me to head to airport for 14;30 flight , went to book a taxi at reception ( he wasn't there) a hour later at 10 Ryanair announced me that the 14:30 flight was canceled and the next flight will be at 7:55 from murcia. AND guess what he literally went pathetic when I wanted to rebook the taxi.all because he didn't understand and taught he will lose the commission they get from the taxi company, HE WAS SHOUTING LIKE I WAS A MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY NOT A GUEST. I was in tears and called my friend who speaks Spanish and than he come to me for apology, EVEN IF U DID NOT UNDERSTAND how can u treat customer WHO ARE STOCK IN SPAIN And paying you extra money for there stay like that. Another receptionist came who speaks a little English and couldn't stop to apologies and said WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH CANCELING A TAXI. WE MAKE A 100S OF RESERVATIONS AND 100SOF CANCELLATION as long as it's far a head
Well that was the story about a very very rude and abusive member of staff just because u do not speak Spanish , the lady who booked me was as unpleasant as his brother like they need to be paid to smile , never ever go back there
