Reviews from visitors:
One of the best hotels in the area. The service is stunning, and the installations spectacular. It have a Spa, a Infinity swimming pool at the top, and a large swiming pool facing the sea. The best of the place is the people and clients, you can meet someone practically from every corner of Europe. Very friendly place. Oustanding comunications with the airport in 20 mins, or even with Malaga city, 30 mins. And the very best of all, 5 mins walking to the main area of party in Torremolinos, "La Nogalera".
We were there in November, 2019, and the hotel was pretty empty. But we had a great room overlooking the Mediterranean, and everyone on staff was very friendly and nice. The pool on the roof was great, but it was cold and rainy the day we were there so we only went up to see it, even though the pool is heated. We would love to go back during high season in the summer and see how much fun we could have. :-)
The only thing what I'm missing for the breakfast is yougurt. Also the lunch and the dinner is really tasty. The room and view is perfect also the staff.
Its amazing how different are the facilities and the vibe (which were 5 stars) comparing to the bad service, poor amenities and bad cleaning in the hotel.
For example, even we booked the best room (superior) nothing was in it besides kettle for tea or coffee, tv and safe.
Not a sofa, niether espresso machine, none supreme amenties, no robes for the pool or flip flops. Nothing. And this is for around 160€/night during corona virus period.
They put minimum of 2 mediom towles for shower and 2 small omes for hand. No one tought about putting extra towels or checking it during the day in the supreme rooms.
We complained about the dirty in the room, no one ever tried to clean under the bed.
The terrace was empty with 2 rwgulat chairs, nothing that can help you enjpy from the view.
Two days in a row no one bather to fill the room with tpilet papers.
Once we called reception for towles, they said they are going to bring one. We are still waiting.. No one evwr came.
The cocktails are nice and the boys aroubd are sexy. This is a gay hotel and thats whay we came. But at midnight there is a guard that do not let guests from outside to visit you.
Many things must be improved. We paid more then 1,000 euros in 6 days here. We expected much much more!
Last couple of good words:
The hotel has a great location and the pools are lovely. Other guests are friendly and nice. So does some of thr employyees.
Please improve!
Look at the dirty floor.
Amazing location. But the gay flag is not an excuse for bad management and rude desk service. Without gay life, this hotel would not succeed. Description bellow.
My experience (long text warning): tried to access the limited nudist pool for 2 days straight with no success. there were no reservations and seats were first-come-first-served. On the third day, after queueing before opening, I got one of the first 6 seats (out of 20). However, i was told to leave my chair as it was already "reserved" for someone else. By then, the place was packed and I had been effectively kicked out with my boyfriend.
Staff didn't know what changes management was introducing from one day to the next, and what was a decent hotel experience with amazing beach life was already turning sour.
I expressed my frustrations to the desk at checkout, and politely suggested they better inform customers in the future. The old clerk started talking back at me, minimizing the problem and arguing with me, and then a young (trainee?) joined in what felt a verbal confrontation against the entire reception staff!!
Finally I notice they even tried charging me for things from minibar (when they gave me partial deposit refund and no explanation) and they told me to be polite when I indignantly gave them the receit back and demanded the full deposit refund (finally out of patience !) - So silly ! where is this unhinged behaviour acceptable? Not worth the money for the poor service presented.
Definitely overpriced for the training the staff gets. They lack propper customer relations and turned a simple suggestion into a verbal confrontation. Ridiculous.
Willing to give the hotel a second chance, however the rating stays mediocre for now. I can't shake off the creeping feeling that the staff has some sort of differential treatment going on with customers - regarding apparent wealth and sexy / Gym fit appearance. An unfortunate feeling, developed completely last-minute, and for no good reason !
