The location was great, right in front of the beach. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff was very nice and courteous. Location is very convenient, there are many restaurants and shop close by. However, they need to be a bit more diligent with their cleaning services as we had an incident and had to request a room transfer. But overall I would come back.
Good facilities but confusion on check-in. They still don't have my name recorded correctly. The gentleman gave us a side view room even though we paid for the frontal view. When we went back to him he was defensive and promised us the room tomorrow after breakfast
... Didn't get it til one o'clock. Had to ask if there would be compensation as it wasn't offered. Got a free evening meal. Main gripe with the room is NO AIR CON. Asked at reception and apparently there's no need for it at this time of year.. except the room has a fridge in it which generates heat so the temperature reads 25-26 indoors!! We've had to get up two nights so far to open the door to the terrace to try and cool down. Ridiculous in a supposed 4 star hotel. We stayed in another hotel just up the road before and there was Aircon at this time of year. Of and they charge for the safe as well. Just signs of penny pinching which puts me off. Pity as it has a lot of good points such as the indoor pool, gym and interior reception areas.

Hotel decor and rest of it is ok. Front office staff needs to learn to smile and be happy in this hospitality industry. Bar staff needs more help so they can be bit more happier. Sometimes I think they tend to think they are doing us a favour in servings us. Room are spacious but very warm. A/C only works in summer. Nice location spent almost a week in the hotel. Food was good. Its not my kind of place. I have stayed in other Melia hotels which were much better
