Great, amazing staff! The view from the corner rooms is spectacular, you feel like you're in a ship! Good cost! Could improve the toiletries, shampoo is awful. Loved the romance package, great champagne and sweets.
It’s a nice place to stay ! Staff is polite and location is very nice ! No neeed to tell you the lobby is out of this world !
Very clean. Beautiful hotel. The staff are excellent. Highly recommended place to stay when in Toronto. Safe area. Lovely just to walk around the area and very convenient. The price compared to all the other hotels around in the area there just can't be beat
Lady at the reception named Nelson is really professional, and if your polite to her she will hook you up!. I took a studio room with a city view and a fireplace. The room was 125$ but the bill adds up. Parking is 30$ under ground plus switching rooms will cost you more. It was a good experience. Don't mind the mess in the photos as I took these pictures as I was checking out.

During COVID the staff was very friendly and explained all the protocols to be followed and the requirements for a nice stay in the hotel.
The room was upgraded to a Superior Suite in the Classic Vintage Hotel which I really liked.
The room was surprisingly spacious and had all the amenities one could want for a pleasant stay.
However for the life of me I couldn't get the main lamp in the room to light up, but there was ample lights in the room which was sufficient.
We had a really great time during our stay. The service was exceptional and all of the little details were very much appreciated. First of all, our room was upgraded which we were very excited about. We ended up spending most of our time in the little sitting area so that was a huge bonus. The Valentine dessert that was brought to our room upon arrival was also a fantastic surprise. Thank you so much to all of the staff at the Shangri-La for making our stay very memorable despite all of the current regulations that are in place. It was an awesome escape and we will definitely be back.
Wonderful stay. The service was wonderful and the room was very clean. My only complaint is that the rooms are not individually climate controlled, so our room was really hot.
This hotel reminds of what you might see in New York but it’s obviously in Toronto, I’ve stayed here 3 times and every time it’s been an amazing stay and their beds are comfy. The front desk staff are always & willing to help you out with any questions you may have.
If you need quick access to the subway, streetcars, union, union up express to person airport or billy bishop this is the place for you. Just up the street at queen and younge (a 10-12 min walk) you have the Eaton centre for shops, the financial core to the west a 5 min walk and quite a decent amount of restaurants around.
Rooms are also really priced well for the location!
I stayed at the soho this passed weekend for my boyfriends birthday. They had champagne and Truffles waiting in the room. The room was beautiful. The wood finishing is beautiful. And the bathroom was so spacious and the deep soaker tub was so relaxing. Was a beautiful night spent away from home in all the madness of covid. Oh and the staff at the front were so friendly and very helpful. I will be back ! My boyfriend was so happy.
