I have stayed at the Annex several times and my stay everytime has been amazing. Everything is self serve but if you have any issues there is always someone to help you which is amazing. The rooms are clean, modern and very minimalist. Not your average hotel room. The bed is my favourite. It is so extremely comfortable and the duvet. I looked up the brand for purchasing myself. Overall the experiences I have had over the last year staying here has been amazing and will definitely return! Thank you Annex for your wonderful hospitality and giving me a good night rest.
This is now my third time staying here in 2020. And I live in Toronto. This has become a safe escape for my wife and I. We work from home and have a teen at home 24/7 now too. Having a spectacular space in a part of the city I love so much feels like a luxury for me, especially when every person on the annex hotel’s team shows up in a way that demonstrates they genuinely care about the comfort and safety of all guests. Key features of one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at (this includes the world renowned 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in): best mattress EVER; a team that cares (especially Linda & Ryan); even their drip coffee is tasty; CLEAN; brilliant use of space; beautiful part of Toronto close to literally everything. There is something special here with the model & care that the annex has executed and I hope it continues to evolve with the needs of its guests; as it already has in such a short amount of time. This is more than a 5 star review; it’s a love letter to a place that really has become a home away from home.
We had an amazing stay at the Annex Hotel to celebrate our engagement! The room had a beautiful simple design and was very cozy and clean. The hotel is conveniently close to many restaurants, bars and shops. Check-in was via text/e-mail and staff was very responsive and friendly. They even provided us with complimentary champagne to celebrate our engagement which was so thoughtful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!!
It was me and my boyfriends first time at The Annex Hotel. We found this cool-hip hotel from the amazing reviews on google and tripadvisor. This place deserves more than 5 stars! Our room was spotless and very modern (Japanese style I would say). We had the perfect view of the skyline right at our window. The perfect location to have a mini staycation during this pandemic. The best part of it all was the amazing customer service. Anything we needed was simply through a text and minutes later we would get a response. We did have difficulties with a noise complaint next door, but thanks to their A+ customer service, they made our stay more appreciated. Thanks again! We will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends!
From the moment I was greeted and shown to my room by Linda, to Andrej dealing with my requests and questions and to Rana greeting me each day with a genuine smile and youthful words of encouragement, I was thoroughly impressed by this little, hip, cool and personal hotel in Toronto’s West End. I will admit I am a jaded traveller and rarely does a property live up to my expectations but The Annex Hotel Toronto did! Awesome service and follow through begin at the top and clearly Ryan and his Team care about the guest experience and you feel it. (There must be great owners too!)
Besides the perfectly paired down, well appointed rooms and decor, everything you touch,feel, and tastes like it should. The bed is outstanding...btw.
The neighbourhood is very “now” and good food is everywhere!
Me and my beloved bicycle WILL be back!
