Reviews from visitors:
I booked and paid for my reservation well before COVID-19 struck. Once events started getting cancelled I asked for either a refund or change the date. They wouldn’t respond to me then Hotels.com got involved trying to work with them. In a world where exceptions are being made due to the pandemic they are still keeping my money! That says a lot about the character of the owners. Book with someone else!
Review for Maple boutique suites.
We were unable to travel from New Zealand to Toronto for a wedding in August due to COVID. A booking that was made last October. Despite trying to negotiate well in advance and even asking to move our reservation to 2021 this company was completely inflexible and non negotiable. Yes our booking was non refundable, and we were well aware of the conditions when we booked, but feel that in these uncertain and unprecedented times we considered the stance of inflexibility disgusting and distasteful. Smacks of theft !!
Beware of this hospitality group.
Stayed there in January 2020, before lockdown.
Great flats and location. Downtown Toronto
I had booked the hotel a few months back for a graduation via Expedia along with flights, car rental, and another hotel in Buffalo. I was able to cancel everything else except for this Atmosphere Boutique Suites. I had reached out early to the hotel and they said I need to talk to Expedia. After a few weeks of back and forth and the empty promise of moving my reservation dates nothing. If the border had not been closed and I would not want to risk getting covid maybe I would have been able to use this reservation.
this was our first time into Toronto and we found booking a private vacation rental as a hassle. The suites are tall tower and beautiful to say the least.
Not only were the parking car situation confusion but getting in and out of the suite was even more confusing. When we got to our suite, it smelled like a dead fish, and foul sock. I called stay effortless to see what they can do about it. They told us the guys who checked us in will be there and will help. The guy got there and offered no solution. We did not stay at the suite and got another hotel to stay because the smell was unbearable. Not even worth one star due to bad customer experience, lack of help for international travelers with help, parking lot and hotel suites are extremely hard to navigate, access and go in and out which are far beyond the beauty of the suite.
I would go with a major hotel chain next time.
