This hotel reminds of what you might see in New York but it’s obviously in Toronto, I’ve stayed here 3 times and every time it’s been an amazing stay and their beds are comfy. The front desk staff are always & willing to help you out with any questions you may have.
If you need quick access to the subway, streetcars, union, union up express to person airport or billy bishop this is the place for you. Just up the street at queen and younge (a 10-12 min walk) you have the Eaton centre for shops, the financial core to the west a 5 min walk and quite a decent amount of restaurants around.
Rooms are also really priced well for the location!
I walked into the king Edward hotel with expectations. I was blown away by the mere size of my room and the king bed was fit for a king and 20 inch ceilings def felt that luxury of royalty. The staff friendly respectful. And courteous. Thank you so much for this special stay.
High tea at the King Edward is a must!! Brought a group of girls here for high tea as part of our bachelorette party and we were so impressed with the food and the tea. The service was amazing too. Very pretty lobby and helpful staff. Right next to king subway station and very quick walk from union station.
Beautifully appointed and classy room. I went with the king premier and it was spacious with a desk, sitting area and amazing king bed. The bed is very plush and soft. I typically prefer a more firm mattress, and although this was quite soft it was lovely.
The front desk and hospitality staff is amazing! Extremely polite and accommodating with all of my requests. Extra towels, ice, anything I needed was all delivered immediately (within 5 minutes). I was treated like a rockstar! The customer service is truly a cut above.
I need not look anywhere else when booking a stay downtown Toronto. I highly recommend The King Edward and look forward to my next stay.
