1 Red Planet Tokyo Asakusa

I came to visit during the Cherry Blossom season and this was my first time in Japan ever. The staff were very nice, the rooms were very clean. The rooms may feel a bit smaller than what I am use to but I didn't mind it since I only was ever in the room just to sleep. There are a lot of things near the hotel like Senso-ji temple, Nakamise shopping street, and the Tokyo Tower is about a 15-20 min walk away. There were plenty of convenient stores around and plenty of restaurants. Also there was so many ways to get to the train station so overall I was happy with this hotel and will be sure to stay here again for it good prices and closeness to everything.

Great value and great amenities. This is the best capsule hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only is it supremely affordable, but it has features that most other capsule hotels lack. There is a very homey lounge on the 5th floor with a kitchen and living room, and there's even a washing machine on the 6th floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they provide you with little goodies for free (such as candies, tea, disposable razors, hand wipes, etc.). Also, the room is spacious enough that you can store your luggage in its own spot against the wall--and a bicycle lock is included so your luggage stays secure. If that's not enough, there's even a built-in locker in your cubicle. If you want to use your own lock, you can do that instead. They thought of everything!
Basically, you ought to stay here.

Big kitchen, 4 people dormitory with private shower, computer available, cleaning made everyday. Perfect for short and long term stay.
4 THE GATE HOTEL Kaminarimon by HULIC

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had an awesome stay. The location is great, the room was well equipped and the reception area is amazing with the view. We had a drink on the roof top bar and want to say "thank you very much" to Sabin, who gave us some good recommendations and made us feel welcome.
5 HOTEL GRACERY ASAKUSA

images
Hotel Gracery Asakusa is one of the fine hotel in Asakusa. There are so many shopping places, restaurants, and supermarkets in the walking distance. It is very close to train stations. The rooms are small when you compare to other hotel rooms in the United States, Canada, or Thailand, etc. but the water pressure is great and very clean. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All the staffs were very polite and helpful. There is also a restaurant in the hotel.
6 Hotel Tavinos Asakusa

Wonderful! Nice, clean, atmospheric place to relax when you've been running around Tokyo all day/night! Everything is clean and new, a good use of space especially with the storage space under the bed! Huge TV in case that matters, the shower is huge! Tiny sink space but honestly not a big deal when you've got a top tier shower and toilet . There's a mirror there as well as a huge body mirror to the left when walking into the hotel room. The style is very modern and fun!
7 WIRED HOTEL Asakusa

Really nice hotel. The room was unique, clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!! The surrounding area is really downtown Tokyo. So much fun to walk around!
8 FOCUS KURAMAE

Very stylish, you could say even "europeanized" or even after "westernized" hipster-like space! :) Rooms warm and very cozy, bathrooms clean and you can see that every detail was well thought out. It was nice to spend time there, this hotel really provides relaxation, and the cosmetics and bathroom amenities available there are an added plus.
Service very nice and friendly (quickly responding and fluent in English), all the necessary shops in the area, close to tourist and communication points. A great choice for the first time in Japan, I recommend it!
[on the last day of our stay the heating of the room broke down and the guests in the dormitory behaved very loudly, but it was not the fault of the hostel or service]
9 Hotel Amanek Asakusa Ekimae

Great location (superB!) and beautiful view from the rooftop. We didn't book the breakfast but the breakfast "salon" is just besides the reception area - we could see - it was very small, just 4-5 tables. There is microwave at the same place - used to warm the ready-made-dinner from the next to the hotel convenience store. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. Would stay again. *** The rooms are not THAT big as on the photos. Just standard Japanese rooms - small but practical. There are no chairs on the roof - you can seat on the floor if prefer.
10 SEVEN GARDEN

friendly staff - great location - lots of places nearby for food etc. - we had to walk up all the stairs with heavy bags
11 Nui. Hostel & Bar Lounge

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Tokyo, with clean and well-appointed rooms and great location. Plus the bar has good prices, a fun vibe and great staff. A pleasure to stay at.
