Reviews from visitors:
Great value for good price. Exceptionally spaced rooms for Tokyo. Also perfect location because close to the park, close to the harbour, on the underground station. Magnetic view from the room on the huge railways, every morning numbers of Shinkansen outgouing down in the city. Highly recommended!
It is at best an average hotel. Although it has a grand entrance, the rooms were dated
and need renovating. It is very old and there were many stains on the carpet. We could only find two power sockets too which was super frustrating. There were bed bugs and the beds were very uncomfortable. The location is okay, in the centre of Tokyo but not very close to anything in particular. Service was great and the staff was nice. Lacks facilities.
I liked the rooms and generally the location of the hotel. However in my opinion, the breakfast buffet could be improved by making the area a bit lighter and get rid of the trays as it gives the buffet something of a canteen feeling.
While the public spaces of Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Shiodome are very well maintained -- the lobby, the breakfast restaurant -- the rooms need serious renovation. My room had many scuff marks on the wall and the carpet felt old.
Further -- and most importantly -- I only had two electrical outlets -- next to the bathroom door. When people travel with smartphones and computers, there need to be more outlets: at least one near the head of the bed and at least one next to desk, so that people can sit at the desk and work on their computers while it is plugged in.
Thus, I would be hard pressed to seriously recommend Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Shiodome, despite the fact that its location is absolutely, positively, outstanding, with easy access to/from Haneda Airport, plus many subway/train connections within steps of your door. The area is excellent -- so the next time I travel to Tokyo, I will look at competitors in the area.
Located nearby a subway station, very useful to move in Tokyo.
Rooms are pretty small and clean.
Good service and Breakfast has a big variety of options, from Japanese type to intercontinental type.
