My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had an awesome stay. The location is great, the room was well equipped and the reception area is amazing with the view. We had a drink on the roof top bar and want to say "thank you very much" to Sabin, who gave us some good recommendations and made us feel welcome.
I stayed here at one of the nicer rooms. Was up on the ninth floor and loved my experience. Breakfast was served every morning and it was all delicious and fresh. The orange juice is squeezed by hand right in the open. The rooms themselves were well sized and gave me and my friend room for both our things in a double bed room. The bathroom was clean and everyday there were fresh toiletries and bedding. The staff was also decently versed in English.
If you want to go to a slightly pricier place in Tokyo this hotel is awesome. Also it's right outside of one of the shrines. The access to the subway is also a 2 minute walk away so it's a great location as well.
Clean and quiet. Great location and close to the subway. An easy commute by rail from Haneda airport.
The Gate Kaminarimon is a great value hotel, especially for English-speaking tourists.
The breakfast menu is well done with a buffet included as well as table service specials. I recommend the curry benedict.
Much of the front desk staff speaks English very well and of course service is impeccable. The bits were a wee bit stiff for me, but the ameneties and bathrooms, location, and services we'll make up for it.
I stayed in one of the basic rooms and it was good/immaculate and the staff are very helpful
