Reviews from visitors:
Absolutely fantastic. Such a great concept. Rooms curated by artists. As a guest you get to stay in the exhibition. And all in the middle of Akihabara. My room was dark and demonic. I slept underneath the watchful gaze of Raijin and Fujin. I've got to go back and can't wait to see what the next concept is.
This place is super cool. It is centrally located in Akihabara only a few minutes walk to the train station. Our room was enormous and outfit like an Airbnb but way better. There was a kitchenette, where they kindly washed any cups we used overnight and supplied tea and coffee. The shower was one of the best I have had (great water pressure)There was a convenient and efficient laundry and the beds were very comfortable.
The staff was great, they spoke enough English to help us out on tips for places to eat and see nearby and warmly greeted us as we came and went.
The best part is the vibe of the place. You can feel the energy and creativity that went into designing it and as an artist shared workspace in the lobby, it has a buzz.
I would recommend this for families, my son loved it. Each room is uniquely designed so if you like contemporary art - this is a fabulous place to stay and live like an artist for a couple of days.
Excellent art hotel with some of the most spacious rooms I’ve seen in Tokyo for the price point. The attention to detail is readily apparent as soon as you step into the room - from the placement of the pieces of furniture to the beautifully creative art on the walls drawn by rising local artists.
What really sets this place apart in my opinion is the co-working space that serves as the front desk for the hotel. There’s always some really creative people hanging out and working here every day.
I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get a more real and fulfilling living experience in Tokyo.
Fun place, friendly, nice room. Unconventional. A bit expensive.
Great place for family travellers with spacious room and bathroom with washing machine, and little kitchen (frying pan, pot, etc)! Really satisfied!
