Small rooms but clean and nice onsen. If you don't need a big room it's a great hotel.
My favorite Tokyo hotel. The location is perfect - a 7 or 8 minute walk north of Akihabara station (JR). The breakfast is amazing and cheap. The rooftop bath is THE way to start the day. The rooms are small - but MOST rooms in Tokyo are small and you want to be out doing things anyway! Make this your go-to!
Amazing service and great building amenities. Even though it is a small humble hotel, they were kind enough to admit us late night due to an issue with our rented apartment. They really saved our night and our stay at Tokyo.
Hotel staff is super kind, rooms are small but cozy and extra clean. It has everything you need for a night stay or a trip if you won't be spending all the time in the room. I highly recommend this place if you are looking forward sightseeing the city all day since it has a privileged location near two JR and metro stations.
Nice stay, nice price, definitely worth the value.
It's a 3-star hotel, but with 5 star comfort. The rooms are small(no desk), but that's okay. You can use the lounge downstairs. The onsen on the roof saves you the hassle of finding one locally. There's free soup(which tastes great) each night on the house. The breakfast is good. Friendly staff too. Utilize Suehirocho as it's a super short walk compared to Akihabara station.
I loved it. Out of all the places we stayed at in Japan, Dormy inn was the only place to offer complementary sake. The rooms were on the smaller side but the beds are comfy. They do have an open aired Onsen (public bath) where you can look up at the night sky so i thought that was cool. My only complaint was that every time you leave the building they want you to leave the key at the front desk but i guess its so that you dont lose the key.
