Reviews from visitors:
I'm a bit confused with all the good reviews mainly on the cleanliness, but probably I just had some bad luck here. I was there for one night and as someone who has been a couple of times in Japan, this was until today, one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
The rooms were dirty and extremely noisy. I find that having an insane amount of beds per room, without any soundproofing, makes it impossible to sleep. I've been to some capsule hotels before, so I would assume that it would be similar but not at all.
Also during my stay, I would say that 80% of the people staying there were absurdly drunk. I have nothing against drinking, but it's not nice to have to use another floor's toilet, because the one in yours is covered with vomit.
I've stayed in amazing place throughout Japan, even in small cities far from the beaten path. Unfortunately, this was an awful experience so unfortunately I won't be staying there again.
Great place! It's not too far from the metro station. Clean. Friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
Great hostel experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for my busy travel schedule. I needed a late check in and for somewhere to stash my bag after I checked out and they were happy to help out. The location is within about a 15 minute walk of Tokyo station so travel around the rest of Tokyo is very easy.
This place is great! The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious, staff is super nice and friendly! The top bunk beds feel airy and open but also secure enough that you won’t fall out, and they have really convenient outlets. The bottom floor also is a small cafe. Honestly I liked staying here more than in nearby hotels! And it cost a quarter of the price!
An excellent hostel! Don't hesitate to book this hostel for a moment at all.
They provide slippers for you, and you have access to a small locker to store your valuables. My only gripe is that there isn't a proper locker for your bags, but I solved that by just locking my bags together, to deter any would be thieves. Anyway, it's Japan - theft just isn't a big problem.
There is a nice albeit small common room. The hostel is also well located - right next to Hatchobori Station, so getting around Tokyo is a breeze. It's an excellent hostel overall, in spite of the lockers. I wouldn't hesitate to return!
