The Villa Giannina was a perfect place for rest some days in Taormina.
It's close to the old town. The breakfast is wonderful, Susanna makes the best ristretto coffee in the world. She makes your stay very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend!
Superb hosts, good quality, perfect location, clean.
Cozy and delightful structure, with attention to the smallest details. Optimal position to reach Taormina on foot. Clean environment, great breakfast. B&B that I recommend
A night with the lizards
BAD experience!
I spent only one night at Villa Giannina, luckily! If I wanted to go camping I would have chosen and booked something else!
The room was a porch with no doors and curtains that let in the light from the street lamps in the evening and the sunlight in the morning.
But worse still from the "large windows" the Lizards entered as they did not adhere perfectly to the wall at the top. Very poor folding bathroom door, did not close properly. Therefore, you could see the bathroom from the outside. The broken shower not to mention the uncomfortable mattress and poor cleaning.
I DO NOT recommend this b & b and would invite the owners to review the offer (very poor value for money). DO NOT trust the photos as they do not correspond to reality. there is a limit to indecency!
Susanna, the owner was very kind. The location is great for getting around Taormina on foot.
