The room is quite nice, the terrace has an amazing view but except that, a regular experience. For breakfast you get a 6 euro voucher per person for the bar front door (Nonna Rosa) that is ridiculously expensive (for two persons we got 2 coffee, 2 granita, 2 juices, 2 brioche buns. Total was 22 euros so we had to pay 10 euros... ) and there are no continental or savory alternatives for breakfast.
This is not typical B&B. It's 3 rooms apartment in house of flats that was turned to B&B.
The landlord is very nice, helpful and responds quickly for any issues you may have. Rooms are new, clean and nice furnished. Bathroom as well, but is small. There is a nice view on historical square. Location is perfect - 100 meters to the pedestrian-only zone in old town, 200 meters to funicular, going down to the coast (3 EUR one way).
Breakfast is in a bar opposite to hotel (6 EUR voucher per person, per day, which is sufficient for coffee and 2 sweet snacks).
There is only corridor inside and no common areas, no reception etc. There is no onsite parking, however it's manageable to unpack luggage. Parking is 200m away and costs 15 EUR per 24h and 24 EUR per 48h. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator, however landlord is helping with luggage. For breakfast you have to go outside (100m).
The only complain about the room was super uncomfortable, soft bed.
I would say it is also slightly overpriced.
Very good communication by Alessio! This was great, everything we asked was answered quickly and properly. The rooms were also very neat and in a good location for exploring Taormina. The only downside we found is that there was too little storage space to put away your clothes, shoes, etc. But this is easy to solve by hanging a good closet or extra clothes hangers. For the rest super! Thank you!!
Super stay !! We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful property and we liked the welcome, the attention of the staff and of course the convenient location close to the ancient theater.
We will definitely be back!
Fantastic week spent with my husband in the beautiful Taormina. We could not have made a better choice than staying at Taormina Bedda b & b !! New structure, extremely clean and close to the main street, rich and exquisite breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff who impeccably advised us on the most beautiful excursions and the best restaurants. I really recommend this fabulous b & b to everyone !!!
