I was really impressed with this hotel, it's a definitely strong 4 star hotel, the location is amazing, close to the centre but far enough out to be quiet. The views from the pool and rooms are stunning. And even though our room didn't have a view, we were very happy with it's size and the bathroom was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bringing drinks to us at the pool, clearing away and being attentive in general. Booking us tables for restaurants and calling down to the pool to keep us updated. The light lunch menu is limited, and slightly overpriced and and definitely "light" but in keeping with what would be expected in Sicily. The valet parked the car and it was kept safe (you don't need one here to explore Taomina centre at all). We didn't eat dinner at the hotel - there are so many options so close by. But the breakfast was a mix of buffet and menu ordering, which was all very nice.
Simply amazing! Would definitely recommend the hotel! Get a sea view room, it is worth it, every single euro paid for it. Location is great, too, it is 5 to 10 minutes walking feom the main street ( easily accessible but also quite enough). Right next to the city gardens. The pool is super and offers drinks/cocktails. The service of the staff is top notch!
The Belvedere combines two things that make a huge difference to me when traveling - the comforts of home & being thoroughly pampered. The staff heard the trip to Sicily was for my wife’s birthday, a bottle of chilled bubbles greeted us in our room upon check-in. And as we had to check-out of the hotel at 3.30am to catch an early flight from Catania airport, the hotel sent coffees to the room at 3am!
They say it’s the small things that make a difference. At Hotel Belvedere, they’re experts at lavishing guests in both big and small ways. And I haven’t even started on the breakfasts, the cocktails and THE VIEWS!!!!
Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful garden. A perfect location to spend a few days in Taormina. Ask reception for travel highlights, they are very helpful.
Can’t go wrong. This place is amazing and the staff are really nice and helpful. Valerio is a champ and makes your stay heavenly. Definitely a top pick in Taormina - highly recommended and will stay again. Rock Suites are great and very comfortable.
