Incredibly comfortable and expansive villa. You can sleep a family, hold a wedding or a birthday party easily for 30 people and local caterers are available.
One thing to note is the top floor of the villa is a separate home, so consider that before planning anything noisy or late.
Great value for Taormina which is lovely, but expensive.
Came as group of friends from Paris to enjoy a week’s hiking on Mt. Etna and we used the villa as a base.
It was wonderful that we could see Etna from the villa itself.

My husband and I spent a year making our own Grand Tour of Italy as a retirement celebration after Tom finished his career in the city.
We finished our tour with four weeks in Sicily, starting in Messina and then travelling through Taormina and circling the rest of the island.
Taormina is, we learned, known locally known as the ‘Pearl of Sicily’ and we certainly saw why – with beautiful views around every corner.
Villa Krater, right in the middle of it all, is a magical place and we felt blessed to spend a week there. We arranged two Sicilian feasts on the grand terrace and both were utterly delicious.
Would definitely recommend to other guests.
PS. Oh, and Audacity’s three puppies are gorgeous too!
The best place to be in Taormina. For those who love luxury. An unique experience! The views are amazing as nowhere else in Taormina. Will definetely go back there!
Our barbecue on the grand terrace was delicious and the villa made a great base to explore Etna’s vineyard’s, which was the main reason for our trip.
Would definitely return.
