What a disappointment. We were very surprised and couldn't really understand where the good reviews came from. We've been also in the Grand Hotel Miramare of Liguria and it was a pure delight so we maybe naively, thought we could expect a similar experience here. It was just a sad, old hotel. It was almost empty, just very few other guests. The rooms were very old, all the furnitures were worn down and the bathroom even smelled. The staff was nice and polite but that was about it. No real warmth to be seen. Only the entrance hall seemed to have been refurbished but all the rest of the facility seemed to be 20-30 years old and it really shows. There seemed to be plenty of other offers so I'd advise to find something else.

I stayed for 8 nights at this amazing hotel in Taormina. Super clean premises , friendly and amazing staff, all the waiters and frond desk officers are very helpful, even the chef is very, he used to take care of my food whenever i order it during lunch time at the pool. Breakfast buffet was delicious, but the hotel could add some other items to diversify the options that you have for breakfast. During night i had dinner / drinks at the terrace, weather was good and we had some 2 musicians playing on the piano and singing. Overall, i would give a 5/5 for this hotel. I simply loved it

Tired hotel but still int he middle of upper Tarantino. Good stay just make sure your toilet is operational :). Cant give 4 start due to the fact tennis courts are destroyed, pool lining is molded in the corners, bathrooms are below 4star standards.

A wonderful stop right outside the city gates. We never had a chance to use the pool but it was beautiful and every common area had a beautiful view of the sea. You can't see Isolabella, but that doesn't detract from the view one bit. The breakfast has a little for everyone and better than the standard European breakfast. The bar and the cocktail balcony is a Greta place to start the night before heading into the city.
