1 NIHAO CAFE HOTEL

Nice and cosy place to stay, a lot of complimentary stuff for travellor such as free tea, biscuit and extra toothbrush. The showeroom can be easily wet cos the slop is not that low ( compared to the dry area).
2 Folio Hotel Taipei Daan

Absolutely loved this hotel! It’s modern chic and was very comfortable. If you want a change from any regular hotel room and find a more aesthetic hotel, this is it. Also the breakfast is very good with three choices for western, eastern, and a vegetarian option. Would recommend to everyone.
3 Taipei Fullerton Hotel-Fuxing South

Well located and good sized hotel with comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.
4 chez nous Hotel 司旅

This was a great place for quarantine. The balcony overlooking a busy high school was such a treat, and helps break the monotony. Room amenities were top-notch, with a UV purifier/diffuser and an air purifier. The floors were wooden, so dust won’t accumulate on a carpet. Rooms were also individually air-conditioned.
The staff and service are top-notch, and every request is catered to within 5 minutes tops, including deliveries to the room from foodpanda or uber.
Food was healthily prepared and well-balanced, and staff told me they don’t use MSG. They also allowed me to hang around in the cafe to work until my next airbnb was available. They even gave me free snacks and coffee, truly above and beyond.
Thank you Eugene and team for the great hospitality!

3K or less and you get a wonderful deal. Everything is provided and all is comfortable and clean. Not my last time.
6 Éclat Hotel Taipei

It’s a great hotel. I would stay there again. The bed was comfortable, the room nice, the staff friendly helpful, and prompt with service. It’s also quiet. I don’t like noisy hotels. You can hear some noise but over all silent.
The wooden floor is a bit dated and scuffed up.
7 Home Hotel Da-An 大安

Home Hotel Da-An is an excellent hotel for quarantine that far exceeded my expectations.
First, my room (Deluxe Marvelous) was spacious and comfortable. I especially loved my private balcony (with a super cute rocking chair) which provided beautiful sunset views and much-needed fresh air.
Second, it's easy and convenient to communicate with hotel staff through the Line messaging app in both English and Chinese. I always received friendly and professional responses in a few minutes. When I requested amenities, they would deliver items promptly. Hotel staff also messages you when breakfast, lunch, and dinner is delivered on a clean rack right next to my door.
Third, the meals were surprisingly good and healthy. There was always various vegetables, a meat dish, a carb main, a bowl of fresh sliced fruits (e.g. dragonfruits, guava, oranges, grapefruit), and a soup (e.g. pork, hot and sour) or dessert (e.g. green bean soup). For example, they provided beef noodle soup one night, and pork chops over rice with vegetables another night.
Lastly, the hotel is in a great location (not that it matters when you're stuck in your room, but it definitely matters for DELIVERY)! UberEats/FoodPanda had a ton of amazing food options to be delivered in the area (I ordered too many desserts and bubble tea for my own good), and hotel staff would always promptly notify me and bring my delivery to the rack by my door.
Overall, this has been a wonderful--even enjoyable--experience, especially in these tough circumstances. If I had to quarantine again in Taiwan, I would definitely choose this hotel.
8 Madison Taipei Hotel

Madison Taipei is a fantastic hotel. All the staffs are so friendly and polite to the customers. I like the breakfast here. Firstly, Mary and Ruby are really kind to the diners; food is delicious and the environment is very comfy. Overall 5 out of 5!!
9 Kimpton Da An Hotel

images
Overall great 4 star boutique hotel with excellent location! All the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Rooms were compact and nicely designed to utilize all the space of the room. Only negative I could say about the room was the soundproofing of the walls and door (I believe this hotel was a conversion from an apartment building so I guess that makes sense).
Happy hour is from 530-630pm and provide beer/red/white wine and finger foods. Would definitely stay again in the future.
