Nice enough.. not as nice as reviews make it seem.. not really curated as cool as the website would make you think. Rooms are a little strange. Very clean.
I will give 4.5 if the system allows. The bed is comfortable, but if you are travelling longer or having much luggage, you'd find the place has little space to put your stuff — however, overall clean, friendly host, near to breakfast place, nothing much to complain.

The idea is to experience design. All the furniture and amenities in the room were carefully selected to bring out the best of Taiwan designs. The staff took the time to explain each and every item in the room.
We had the tea room. It's interesting to know the many different flavours of local tea using one of the three available cups (made by local designers) in the room. You can write your thoughts about the tea on a piece of paper along with other people who stayed there before you.
Oh yea, the bed is very comfy!
This is not so much a hotel as you would normally expect. It's more like an apartment but without the cooking facility and there is no in-house dining. This hotel focuses on local experience. Lots of old shops and restaurants around the area for you to visit. The night market is just around the corner. Very friendly staff and they also have plenty of suggestions on where to eat. Local designed goods in the room for the guest to use which you can also buy if you are interested.
