Very good situation in the heart of xinyi
Excellent hotel located in a superb location. The rooms are clean and I was given a room with a clear view of Taipei 101. The bed is very comfortable as well, just make sure to have a room on a high floor because the activities outside can make it quite noisy during the weekends.
I was there for my 15-day quarantine, and four series of events there rendered my quarantine hellish, as follows:
1. Credit card issue. Before my arrival there, agents there asked me to provide a printed/written version of my credit card number along with the expiration date. Right after my provision of my number, my card was abused by strangers so I had to waste my time dealing with this issue. I was surprised that they did not provide an encrypted link until I asked them to do so.
2. Contempt for tenants’ food allergens. During my quarantine, the hotel provided us with a meal box for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Despite the fact that I informed them the food allergens that are detrimental to my health within the first hour after my arrival, it took them 9 days to provide a meal without any allergen that would hospitalize me. Also, despite the fact that I already sent messages telling them the allergens that will kill me repeatedly during my stay there, they did not care about it until the ninth day, on which I made a phone call to the local government about their abusive contempt for my food allergens. Furthermore, during their communication with me on the 9th day of my séjour there, their manager, Mr Ding, threatened me to pick up his phone; otherwise, it is impossible for him to remove food allergens. Also, Mr Ding asked me to pick up those life-threatening allergens by myself. This shows their contempt for tenants’ food allergens.
3. Insulation. During my quarantine there, I was allocated to a relatively higher floor (19th), but I could still hear, clearly, the noises made on the street downstairs.
4. They are not a 5-star hotel as they claim on google. Actually, their receptionist confessed to me that they haven’t participated in any assessment yet. I was wondering if it is a fraud. Also, they called me and disrupted my online meeting even after I told them, twice, to avoid calling me without appointment on WhatsApp.
As a Taiwanese American, I travel to Taiwan once or twice a month to visit my mom. I usually stay at W Hotel, Le Meridien, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt Grand and/or Sheraton hotel. This is my first time staying in Humble House Hotel Taipei.
Due to entry restrictions to Taiwan in response to COVID-19 outbreak, each individual shall undergo a 15-day period of home quarantine at home or at a quarantine hotel.
This is my 3rd time staying at quarantine hotel in Taiwan for the past 5 months. And the first time at Humble House Hotel. I would say "outstanding service from the very beginning to the end". I really enjoyed the experience in this hotel. The people in the hotel are amazing. They will try to meet all your needs during your stay. Excellent hard working crew in the hotel.
It's an excellent hotel, conveniently located even though we have to stay inside the hotel room for the entire 15 days. The hotel is located in the Xinyi district of Taipei, offering a clean and spacious environment and elegant rooms with commanding views of the city. Rooms are as soothing as they are stylish, refreshing and supremely comfortable.
Humble House Self-Isolated Package offers reasonable prices including breakfast, lunch, dinner, tax and service fee. The meals are delicately designed by the chef to provide a variety of Chinese and western style cuisines served in disposable tableware. There are delicious meals to accompany travelers through the 15 days.
The Humble House hotel’s five-star chef has carefully designed a variety of Chinese, Japanese and Western dishes to create rich and delicious anti-epidemic meals for quarantine travelers during the quarantine period. Wonderful 15 days of meals have a good taste and excellent food with balanced nutrition, and enjoy a healthy and delicious life during the quarantine period.
I would highly recommend Humble House Hotel which provides you a safe and comfortable 15 days quarantine experience. I'll stay here even in the post-covid era when I visit Taipei.
This is the perfect hotel for a Taipei stay. Facilities and rooms are great with a central location and delicious breakfast. I booked on the website and found the best rate. Would recommend to anyone.
