Nice enough.. not as nice as reviews make it seem.. not really curated as cool as the website would make you think. Rooms are a little strange. Very clean.

It’s a great hotel. I would stay there again. The bed was comfortable, the room nice, the staff friendly helpful, and prompt with service. It’s also quiet. I don’t like noisy hotels. You can hear some noise but over all silent.
The wooden floor is a bit dated and scuffed up.
Pretty nice place. Everything beautiful clean and maybe bcs of the virus it was pretty cheap with respect to what it has to offer. Though I recommend guests to watch out for the wet floor, it becomes slippery. A good solution to this is while entering your room ask the maid for 2-4 extra towels. Throw them on the ground and voila.
Excellent service, staff extremely helpful and friendly. The bathtub is large enough for me (186cm) to stretch my legs, toilet is fully automatic.
The rooftop pool has a view of 101 but not much else. It isn't heated or covered, so can be quite cold if it's windy. The pool isn't very big, but luckily no-one else was using it. The pool area has additional towels and bottles of water for your use. The changing rooms are at the entrance through the second door on the right.
Late at night when I went into the bathroom there was a cockroach in the sink, probably came from the drains, but who knows. The pillows were very soft, too soft for my liking. The last two reasons are why it doesn't get 5 stars.
Absolutely loved this hotel! It’s modern chic and was very comfortable. If you want a change from any regular hotel room and find a more aesthetic hotel, this is it. Also the breakfast is very good with three choices for western, eastern, and a vegetarian option. Would recommend to everyone.
Overall great 4 star boutique hotel with excellent location! All the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Rooms were compact and nicely designed to utilize all the space of the room. Only negative I could say about the room was the soundproofing of the walls and door (I believe this hotel was a conversion from an apartment building so I guess that makes sense).
Happy hour is from 530-630pm and provide beer/red/white wine and finger foods. Would definitely stay again in the future.
Nice place, love the way of interior design of reception. And how they design each room is very compact.
Stayed here over a month, on a long-term rate for a private double room. (hard to find long-term rates at hostels near Main station!!) Room was good size for 1 person. 2 people would be tight, but it would be ok for a few nights. It was great to have private restroom. Rarely heard people in rooms next to me.
Staff works hard daily, to keep the place clean and tidy, including the restrooms. Staff are great, most speak English fluently and they are always kind, friendly, and helpful! Free breakfast is wonderful compare to most hostel in Taipei - nice meal with bread, fruit, and some protein. And some nights there is hot local snacks or homemade soup out for the guests. Of course, the lounge is great, but the kitchen is FANTASTIC for a hostel. Has everything you need to cook a great meal as well as lots of shelf space and 2 refrigerators for guests. Rates are a bit higher than some other hostels, but it is worth every dollar!
3K or less and you get a wonderful deal. Everything is provided and all is comfortable and clean. Not my last time.
Stayed for 2 weeks: comfortable, cozy, perfect location.
Nice and cosy place to stay, a lot of complimentary stuff for travellor such as free tea, biscuit and extra toothbrush. The showeroom can be easily wet cos the slop is not that low ( compared to the dry area).
Location is great. The room deco is actually better than some of the five-star hotels we stayed in Taipei. The breakfast is also good. There is a bath and separate shower cube in the room. I love taking a bath there. Overall, it is recommended
The hotel is amazing. Farewell located lots of floors the view is fantastic and the service is beyond the room is a bit small but great price. No complain at all. I really like their second floor nice babe with plenty of seats and tables and there’s a bar running 24 seven. Highly recommend it.
Good staycay with option to add on for karaoke. Only thing was our jacuzzi ended up not working despite us calling them several times to fix it, the karaoke song choices for Eng were extremely limited, and the breakfast next morning was quite disappointing. You have your own garage for privacy and all, and it's meant to also serve as a love hotel.
Amba felt like home for the couple of weeks I stayed in Taipei, excellent and modern at all levels with a special fun twist for design boutique hotel lovers. All rooms has incredible views to the city skyline and are perfectly equipped for all your needs.
And I am totally in love with the Lobby bamboo lamps.
Stayed here for 2 nights. The place is clean and nice. Small room but enjoyable. Very minimalistic bathroom and toilet though.
The gym room was too tiny but the rooftop pool was awesome. Btw all staff were friendly and professional.
clean modern room. amazing customer service. very kind and lovely staff. very hospitable. huge free snacks station and drinks for guests. loved all the effort :) quiet room, soft comfy bed big windows
