Decent hotel on the budget end. Beds weren't great. Was quiet. Good rooftop terrace with free hot chocolate and coffee 24 hours a day.
Pictures included in the booking confirmation are misleading. There was no view of the port. The room needed a major renowation, it was extra cold - as it turned out later, the balcony door was not closed. Unfortunately, they could not be closed at all (damaged) which at 10 degrees Celsius outside did not allow to sleep. The bathroom door required the use of an arm to open. We reported it to the owner, he offered us a change of room on a different floor with a view of the harbor but no balcony. The room was very small. The bathroom basically took away part of the room which negatively affected the privacy - it was only fenced off with glass. But that wasn't the worst part - but leaking ceiling when the tenant upstairs was taking a shower. Then everything was pouring down the wall. If anyone wanted to watch TV you can forget about it,hardly any TV program is available and those 3 that the TV receives have such interference that they cannot be watched. Anyway, they are only in Italian. The room is poorly soundproofed you hear every murmur from the corridor which is intensified by the cleaners, who from 8 am behave as if they were alone in the facility. The bedding we got were dirty and the towels were full of holes.
I am dissapointed about this place.

Our first room when we came was dirty with damaged balcony window - it was on December so you can imagine how cold was inside. What's more the door form the bathrom didn't open easily. You need additional support to go out. After first night we asked for another room. It was better but very small. The bathrom was almost inside. Room was dirty with molds on a surface!
The cleaning service was very poor. Just talkative ladies doing their job since early morning. Big echo inside so forget about good dream during your hols. What's more they didn't clean room appropriately eg. dirty floor, used cups leaved inside. Oh and I saw also clothes moth....
Be careful also with not being flooded. Either from the upstairs or your own bathroom as its was leaky.
I give 2 ** just because my good feelings to Malta and preety good Villa's localization.
Very nice place. Close to the bus. The owners are nice and the view from the top is amazing. Street can be heard pretty loud, because windows arent airtight. The breakfast is very basic.
Hotel has excellent location and silent neighbourhood.
