I stayed at The Darling on the night before my wedding as well as on my wedding night. The staff were incredibly generous and welcoming and the stay far exceeded any expectations (having stayed at top hotels around the world). The Adored Suite was among the best hotel rooms I have stayed in and it made for a very special place to stay during a wedding. I can't wait to be back!
We used the room for pre wedding "getting ready" shots and the Adored Suite was very well equipped and spacious for the 10+ people getting ready on the day. All guests were in complete awe of the room as we got ready and the room also had ample lighting to capture photos and videos.
The food options on our wedding night (when we were incredibly tired) were also top notch and in room dining felt like it was the calibre of a high end restaurant. Overall we had a wonderful stay and have been left with a very positive impression of The Darling for future stays in Sydney and interstate.
Stayed here after our wedding in the jewel city spa suite and the room was superb. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the spa bath was so relaxing. We ordered breakfast from room service on the first day but we found the food to be average. There are so many options for food around so we weren’t too bothered by this. Our entire stay, every staff member we encountered was not only professional but friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The only reason we haven’t rated 5 stars is the fact that none of the rooms come with balconies. A balcony would be the perfect addition to an otherwise perfect room and experience!
It’s a great and very modern hotel! As you can tell by my photos I’ve stayed in multiple rooms including two different penthouses and all of the rooms are lovely. They have great facilities but the efficiency of the room service could be improved.
Cannot recommend the Darling enough! It is always exceeding expectations with friendly staff, cleanliness and beautiful views. We come here several times a year and have been acknowledged by receiving amazing perks such as room upgrades or room discounts, and complimentary breakfast.
Spent the weekend here for our anniversary and we’re treated like gold. From the room upgrade at check in with complimentary champagne, to the general friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at every encounter. The room was amazing as was the breakfast
at Sokyo. Can’t wait to go back.
