Reviews from visitors:
The location is excellent - close to shops and restaurants and walking distance to Coogee Beach. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful although office hours are quite limited. The daily service in my room was excellent. My room was in the new wing at the back. The room was comfortable, modern and clean with basic facilities. There was no fridge or microwave. The bathroom was smallish but adequate. The shower was very good. The only table in the room was tiny and not really big enough for a computer, despite there being enough space in the room for a larger table. There is an open courtyard between the main house at the front and the wing at the back. There were also a few steps - may be a bit difficult for someone less mobile.
One of the best boutique hotel I ever stayed got everything lovely backyard with benches a little garden and parking if you got guests visiting or for yourself.
Very close to shopping centre literally few minutes walk.
About 15 to 20 minutes walk to coogee beach right opposite Prince of Wales hospital if you visiting someone who is in hospital or giving birth. Buses without exaggeration to every part of Sydney.
I was smoking in the room and the management didn't even to fine me.
We have stayed at The Lurline Randwick four times and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are lovely and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. It is in a great location across the road from Prince of Wales Hospital and easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, light rail and bus stops. We would definitely recommend The Lurline Randwick!
Second time staying at this hotel. Service is excellent, bed comfy and communal kitchen and courtyard are great. Fantastic location. Fantastic hotel for the price.
For the price (paid $82AUD per night) this hotel is excellent. Old world charm, decent sized rooms, modern bathrooms and A/C. Parking on the street overnight was easy to come by, however it was a Sunday night.
Only item holding this back from 5 stars is the top half of the window in the bathroom on my ground floor room was not frosted, so an adjacent apartment complex could see in. While they would need binoculars to see any detail, it may be slightly disconcerting for some.
