This place is unbelievable!
All the years I've been to Taronga Zoo, I never thought I'd be able to sit down to a nice dining experience such as this. We had a panoramic view of Sydney Harbour which included the harbour bridge, Opera House and the city skylines.
The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and very professional as they went about their service.
The food was amazing and the desserts topped up a week of celebrations all around.
Highly recommend for all patrons who visit the zoo.
WOW! From the moment we arrived we received a very warm welcome from all staff.
We booked the Qantas package and were pleasantly surprised to have view of koalas chilling out in the branches with plenty of eucalyptus to enjoy.
The private tour guides were enthusiastic, very friendly and made the experience very special.
The package included dinner and breakfast which were superb and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the lounge for pre dinner drinks with one of the best views in Sydney.
Another highlight was a special encounter with Ella the Koala, she was so cute.
We will certainly recommend Taronga Wildlife Retreat and hopefully return in the future.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was absolutely perfect.
The service was amazing from the concierge to the restaurant, everyone was so lovely and helpful. I would also like to personally mention and thank Lauren from concierge. She was there on both days and made our experience 100 times better. She was helpful, professional and always had a smile on her face. Thank you Lauren!
If you are thinking of booking the retreat, book now! It was worth every cent. From the decor, the staff, the exclusive animal tour and the location, I promise you won’t be disappointed. It is one of those places that from the moment you arrive you know you never want to leave.

Massive compliments to the design and set up of the place, it is absolutely stunning, the main reception and bar and our room and facilities were immaculate and luxurious. Also the zoo handler's and their tours were excellent
I have taken off a star because of 2 very poor showings from the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. While the food was great, the service was abysmal! As well as how long things took, we were booked in for dinner at 8pm and we didn't leave until 10pm because of how slowly each course came out, there was a very distinct lack of leadership and ownership from the waitstaff which left us very frustrated and hungry
Staff were super friendly. The views were amazing of the harbour. Loved some of the exclusive content we got like the sanctuary walk and the koala encounter.
Restaurant was average. But again amazing views.
