Its awesome. Peaceful, quiet, neat and clean. The area it self is just so serene. We stayed in a King Balcony room and it was the most relaxing experience ever. Had the best anniversary and New years eve at Hotel Challis. Definitely coming back!

It's great to stay at Hotel Challis and being back in my old neighbourhood - it is the perfect location for all the great restaurants and cafes and makes me feel as though I have never left. Being able to use the balcony during the stay is fantastic - especially in springtime with a nice bottle of wine. The staff are friendly, and no request is too big or small. With easy access to the city and the Eastern Suburbs, finding your way around is not difficult, and it is great to know that at the end of a busy day you can come back and relax.
Great location and beautiful architecture, lots of charm.
Very helpful staff. The rooms are small, but the balcony with a view makes it all right. Comfortable bed, the room was clean.
