Wow!!! We were so impressed with The Urban. A wonderful location, close to everything and easy to find. When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly and informative way. Was an easy check-in. Requesting a later check-out was no problem. Loved how quirky the inside garden was, our room was very quiet. We had a relaxing sleep-in till 9:30am. We loved how clean and fresh our room was. Could not have been better
Friendly staff, comfortable bed and brilliant amenities for my short stay. Really like the look of the place and best spot if you want to visit Newtown area. Only suggestion is to not have an led green light on outside of our room’s window as some of the light gets through the curtains and makes it feel like daylight outside during night time. I assume it’s there for ambiance and safety, but can make it hard to fall asleep.
everything seems clean and tidy inside, but the receptionist seems clueless about everything. Me and my bf got overcharged rent from them because of the office people have miscommunications with the receptionist, they direct debit two weeks rent plus extra surcharge without telling us after we had paid the first week rent. when we asked for refund by email, there are no responds... and when we ask the guy working in the reception. He keep saying the people in the office will refund but the transaction said PENDING....
Hotel standards are fine. But they need to consider to hire professional people to handle problems immediately. people come for holiday and relax NOT TO SOLVE THESE ISSUE WITH YALL
Don't stay here on any accommodation in their group! I have been out of the property for nearly 3 weeks and am still waiting on a refund of $250. The team has been very unhelpful, no one knows what is going on and everyone blames each other. So disappointed!!!
over priced for what it is. Was smelly (pillows smelt of BO) the air con leaked all over my luggage and the floor was sticky. Towels were good!
